TNA issued the following press release yesterday:

INTERNATIONAL X-DIVISION BATTLE

Nashville, TN (May 5, 2005) – “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels is quickly becoming an established X-Division Champion. First, he defeated perhaps the greatest X-Division champion, AJ Styles, and last month he bested former partner Elix Skipper to keep his X crown. But, the competition in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s X-Division is always tough and Daniels is facing another strong competitor next Sunday at TNA Wrestling’s “Hard Justice” on pay-per-view. Daniels will face, Mexican Lucha Libre, Shocker for the X-Division title.

Daniels has recently been calling himself “Mr. TNA,” and while his victories thus far have been impressive, he still has a lot to prove to earn that moniker. The Mexican star will be a tough challenge as he brings a great amount of experience and pride to the ring.

Shocker earned this X-Division title match last month at “Lockdown” defeating Michael Shane, Chris Sabin & Sonjay Dutt in “Xscape”. Shocker is looking to become the first Mexican X-Division champion, a style of wrestling derived from the rich Lucha Libre style of Mexico. It will a crowning achievement for Shocker to bring the X gold to Mexico for the first time.

This match is sure the exemplify an amazing technical and high flying display that the X-Division is known for. This will be wrestling at its finest inside TNA’s Six Sided Ring. This match and more Total Nonstop Action Wrestling are available on Sunday, May 15th on “Hard Justice”.
