Update on Brock Lesnar & WWE lawsuit, Paul Heyman/ECW PPV, more
On Monday, March 7, 2005 at 2:46 PM EST - World Wrestling Entertainment filed a motion on March 3rd asking for an extension until April 1st before they legally have to answer to the lawsuit issued by Brock Lesnar last month. Both parties have until May 4th before they can file motions to dismiss the lawsuit.
- Paul Heyman was reportedly at WWE offices in Stamford, CT in the last few weeks meeting with WWE officials. According to reports, Heyman was said to have been pitching ideas for the ECW PPV and may already be a consultant for the event. If this turns out to be confirmed, then both Heyman and Tommy Dreamer would be back working together on ECW for the first time in years.
- There are said to be a number of people interested to see how tonight's RAW taping goes in Raleigh, NC. Stephanie McMahon was said to be extremely hands on with production for last week's taping, doing numerous retakes with Randy Orton and "Superstar" Billy Graham as well as Eric Bischoff. Bischoff actually spent around two hours on a pre-taped segment that didn't end up airing on the program. I think it is safe to say that many WWE workers are wondering what Stephanie has in store for tonight, especially in the case of Eric Bischoff.
