According to local radio advertising in the area, former WWE star Bobby Lashley is scheduled to make his MMA debut on Saturday, December 13 at the Mixed Fight Alliance: "There Will Be Blood" event at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. Lashley's opponent for the event has yet to be announced at this time.
Lashley has been training with American Top Team in Coconut Creek, FL alongside other solid MMA stars such as Antonio Silva, Jeff Monson, Thiago Alves, Gesias Cavalcante, Wilson Gouveia, Denis Kang and Thiago Silva.
He remains under contract with the AFL (American Fight League) who announced recently that they would be holding off on an inaugural event until early 2009.
