The following was issued on WWE.com tonight:
"World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstar Braden Walker as of August 7, 2008. WWE wishes Braden the best in all future endeavors."
Walker, whose real name is Chris Harris and wrestled under that name with TNA Wrestling from 2002-2008, signed a contract with WWE in February. He made his TV debut on July 8 on ECW on Sci Fi in a match against Armando Estrada and had a match on ECW this past Tuesday as well against James Curtis. More on this as it develops.
