This Friday night, New England Championship Wrestling celebrates its second Anniversary with a big live event and a historic, first-ever audio webcast.

On Friday night, August 9th, Budweiser and the Boston Metro present NECW's 2nd Annual BIRTHDAY BASH at Good Time Emporium, 30 Assembly Square Drive, Somerville, MA. Bell time is 8:00 PM.

If you cannot be there live, join us for our exclusive audio-webcast on iMassRadio.com. BIRTHDAY BASH will be aired on a tape-delayed basis, beginning at midnight eastern time. (The show will be repeated on Tuesday, August 13 at 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM EST) Ron Lemiuex, Zaqary Springate III and Jason Knight will be at ringside calling the action.

Main Event for the NECW Heavyweight Championship: "The Golden Greek" Alex Arion (Champion) vs. "The Alpha Male" Justin Powers

Semi-Final & Final Matches in the NECW Tag Team Title Tournament:

The Egomaniacs (Johnny Idol & Mike Steele, managed by Scott Dickinson) vs. The All Knighters from Toronto's AWF (Joey Knight & Arizona)

The One Night Stand (Ronnie D. Lishus & Edward G. Xtasy) vs. Slyk Wagner Brown and April Hunter.

The winning teams face off later that night for the titles.

Special Ring of Honor Match: Mark Briscoe vs. Jay Briscoe

Women's Challenge Match: Mercedes Martinez vs. Phoenix (from Toronto's AWF)

Special Challenge Match: Maverick Wild vs. Antonio Thomas
