IWGP Jr. Champion Will Ospreay and Cody Rhodes both sustained injuries during this past Sunday’s New Japan Sakuru Genesis iPPV at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
Ospreay injured his neck during his IWGP Jr. Title Match against Marty Scurll when Ospreay landed on his head on the apron while attempting a Spanish Fly off the apron to the floor.

Ospreay commented on the injury later on Sunday, noting that it is up in the air if he will be able to make his commitments during Wrestlemania 34 weekend next week in New Orleans, where Ospreay is scheduled to wrestle for EVOLVE and CZW, among others.
Hey guys I’m ok. But I might not be fit to compete for NOLA. I’ll update you once I know more.

Back at my hotel now. Time can only tell. Thanks for the messages, can’t help but tell you how much I love you guys.
P.S I could really do without the whole “I told you so” or “This is why” 😂 pic.twitter.com/kAPqmJCFFR
