Laurel Van Ness officially departs Impact Wrestling
Former Impact Knockouts Champion Laurel Van Ness (Chelsea Green) confirmed on Twitter on Monday night that she has officially parted ways with Impact Wrestling.
Van Ness had initially requested a release from the company back in October at the Impact TV tapings following Bound for Glory in Ottawa, but the company denied the request after she was crowned the new Impact Knockouts Champion.
As noted in our spoiler reports, Van Ness dropped the championship at the tapings this past week in Orlando at Universal Studios and finished up on Monday night.
She joins EC3 and Bobby Lashley as the latest to depart the company this week.

Barbed Wire Massacre on Pop TV
Update (3:05 p.m. ET): Anthem and Impact Wrestling issued the following statement indicating the match will not air on Pop TV after all.
“The violent and bloody Barbed Wire Massacre III bout – set for this week’s show – will not air on Pop/Spike TV. Instead the whole rest of the episode will air on regular TV, with fans then being able to swap to Twitch to watch the premiere of Barbed Wire Massacre III. This will be addressed fully in Thursday’s conference call with Konnan and Sami Callihan.”

The Barbed Wire Massacre match between Impact Tag Team Champions LAX and oVe will end up airing this Thursday night on Pop TV after all.
Impactwrestling.com is now advertising the match for this Thursday despite previously noting it would only air in the United States on Twitch due to the amount of violence.
