On tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Sting came to the ring to address the fans.
After acknowledging and thanking the men who have helped him so much in his career, the Icon looked ahead to the future…announcing that his final match before retiring will be at AEW Revolution next year.
Sting made note of this event, reminding fans that he had joined AEW at Revolution 2021, meaning this chapter of his career comes full circle roughly two years later.
At Revolution 2021, Sting teamed with Darby Allin to take on Brian Cage and Powerhouse Hobbs of Team Tazz in a cinematic Street Fight that Sting and Darby would win.
