– Ricky Marvin worked in the cruiserweight match as himself and then Bengala later in the night for some weird reason. It was originally supposed to be Daga defending the title in that spot but he did not appear and there was no explanation given. Some are speculating that he may have left AAA.
– The Semi-Main was billed as a title match too but was made non-title.
– Averno pinned Bengala in the main event and then the lights went out with Mistico appearing in the ring wearing the Mistico mask. He took the mask off revealing the all white, with golden eyes, mask that he wore at the last AAA event. Again no mention of a name at all about this guy. ]

Dorada In Japan
CMLL’s Mascara Dorada is back in Japan to compete in New Japan’s annual Best of the Super Juniors Tournament. The tournament extends through 06/08 and will feature some of the best high flyer wrestlers in the world. The others in the tournament are Jushin Thunder Liger, KUSHIDA, Tetsuya Bushi, Ricochet, Alex Koslov, Taka Michinoku, The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson), Ryusuke Taguchi, Tiger Mask IV, Kenny Omega, Rocky Romero, Alex Shelley, Taichi, and El Desperado. Taichi, Romero, Koslov, and El Desperado (as Namajague) have all spent extended periods of time in CMLL themselves. Jushin Liger and Tiger Mask IV are the legends of the tournament along with former WWE Light Heavyweight Champion Taka Michinoku. The Young Bucks (as Generation Me) and Shelley are former TNA stars with Shelley being a former multi time TNA Tag Team & X-Division Champion. Tetsuya Bushi spent considerable amount of time in Mexico working primarily for IWRG. Ricochet is one of the top wrestlers currently for Dragon Gate and Dragon Gate USA holding presently both the Open the Dream Gate Championship and Open the Freedom Gate Championship.

– Robbie Ellis and Shayne Hawk were introduced to the crowd as the men that supposedly “bought” CHIKARA in an auction. They then introduced the new “Director of Fun” in CHIKARA, Mike Quackenbush! Quack thanked the fans for supporting CHIKARA.
– The Odditorium is Sinn’s new group and they got disqualified when Sinn fouled Kodama right in front of the referee.
– After GEKIDO was eliminated Kid Cyclone, Equinox (not the original, a new one), and a third unknown CHIKARA student attacked 17. Hallowicked, the CHIKARA trainer, ran out and got them to stop.
– Xtreme Force used an exposed turnbuckle to beat The Colony. The rudos then took the King of Trios medals, which they had stole from The Colony before, and celebrated with them. The Colony attacked them and took back the medals.
– A video hyping the 2014 King of Trios aired but no date was announced.
– The whole CHIKARA locker room watched the main event. Icarus forced Kingston to pass out in the CHIKARA Special to beat him and end Kingston’s title reign clean.
– The arena and iPPV then went dark and when it came on the evil Flood group appeared at ringside. Soldier Ant and Delirious, wearing hoods, were a part of the group which was led by a huge masked person. Delirious attacked UltraMantis Black and then Soldier Ant dove over the top onto The Colony. A huge brawl ensued and Kobald got Chokeslammed by the huge guy.
